Ajay Banga, is a Washington based Sikh gentleman, born & brought up in India. He won laurels for his country as a trailblazer & Sikh icon. His perseverance and sheer hardworking coupled with an amazing public relations abilities eventually paid rich dividend. He has travelled widely in connection with his various executive assignments thereby adding to his worldwide popularity.

An alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Shri Banga was Bestowed with Padma Shri & several other laurels. Singh was named among the 100 Most Influential people by the Time Magazine. The magazine published his picture on the cover of one of its issues last year as recognition for his commendable services. Also worked as Vice Chairman at General Atlantic. Currently, President of The World Bank Group, Singh also remained CEO of Mastercard until 2020. The enormity of his career places him atop the list of Non Resident Indians, especially as a Sikh. Born to father Harbhajan Singh Banga, a retired Lieutenant General, Ajay Banga is a proud Sikh, too.
