“Republic Day Celebrations in New Delhi”
Constitution of India came into effect on 26, January 1950. It is a National Holiday. India achieved independence from British Rule following struggle of 100 years on 15 August 1947. The Day is celebrated with full enthusiasm with a National Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi attended by millions including foreign delegates & Heads of states. A Tableau representing Punjab will also become part of the Parade this year. Tableaus from other Indian States & Ministries including marching contingents added grandeur to the event.
