Ashutosh Rana appeared on the film horizon in early 1990s. He invited me to the preview of one of the films he was associated with. The other invitees were Dimple Kapadia & her daughter. The actress was High & Dry & looking for pastures new . Rana later raced to recognition after working in film “Dushman” (1998) starring Sanjay Dutt & Kajol. He plays a rapist. He also featured in TV serials & many Tamil & Telugu films.

“Raaz”(2002) & “Mulk” (2018) include his other mentionable films. One of his last film was “Pathaan” starring Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone. Bestowed with two filmfare Awards as a Villain, Rana married to actress Renuka Shahane, was Born on 10 November 1967 in Madhya Pradesh.
