Kedar Sharma is regarded as one of the finest directors. He is remembered for his 1943 film “Chitralekha”, “Neel Kamal” (1947) & “Bawre Nain” (1950). He was also a screenwriter & lyricist. Sharma fashioned the career of many including Raj Kapoor, Madhubala & Geeta Bali. His 1964 movie “Chitralekha” starring Meena Kumari, Ashok Kumar & Pradeep Kumar failed to do well. Died in 1999.
