Holi, an ancient Indian festival, marks the arrival of Spring also known as Festival of Love, Colors, Merriment, Uninhibited Dancing & Sweets. It is also reminiscent of the eternal and divine love of Radha Krishna.

Holi is the Second Hindu festival after Diwali. It marks the celebration of the victory of good over evil in Holika Dahan. In some part of the subcontinent, it lasts for 5 to 7 days. The ‘Hola Mohalla’ of Anandpur Sahib is the most Colorful event in the country. It is Celebrated a day after the festival of Holi.


Many songs are associated with Holi like “Ranga Barse Bheegi Chunar Wali” from Yash Chopra’s “Silsila” picturized on Amitabh, Rekha & Sanjeev Kumar & ‘Aaj Naa Chodenge Bas Humjoli Khelenge Hum Holi’ picturized on Rajesh Khanna & Asha Parekh from film “Kati Patang”.
