Internationally, wrestling came into vogue around 1940 in England, India, America, Japan and some other Asian countries. Female wrestling started a few years later. ‘May Young’ & ‘The Fabulous Moolah’ were the oldest and most acclaimed female wrestlers. Those days, most of the matches were played between a select group of wrestlers, regions or countries.
After the 1960s, the popularity of wrestling gained momentum & competitions began to take place at the international level. Wrestling received a shot in the arm after the rise & popularity of the ‘World Wrestling Federation'(WWF) as wrestlers from Russia, Canada, Iran, Bulgaria and African countries started entering the ring to compete. Later, more interestingly, wrestling matches became synonymous with glamour, excitement and entertainment. Resultantly, wrestling has now reached every household. Wrestling & grappling have been a part of the ancient world & such events used to take place in Greece & Rome.

Nikki Bella aka Stephanie Nicole Garcia, born to parents Kathy Laurinaitis & Jon Garcia on 21st of November 1983, at San Diego, California, United States is a well known professional wrestler who teamed up with her twin sister Brie Bella ( married to wrestler Daniel Bryan) & wrestled under her ring name Nikki Bella.
The brown eyed babe with an athletic figure stands 5 feet 6 inch with a shapely nay athletic figure measuring 38-27-38, the envy of many of her competitors. She has various tattoos on her person.
At one time Soccer was her passion but the luck had something else in store for her. Resultantly, she took to wrestling & joined the WWE in 2007 , debuting in 2008 following her sister Brie Bella. She made a foray into the wrestling world along with her sister Brie Bella jointly teaming up as ‘The Bella Twins’.
She, however, made her official debut on SmackDown in November 2008. Nikki Bella, a two-time WWE Divas Champion holds the record for the longest reign with that title for 301 days & 6 day respectively. Nikki Bella was billed No.1 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Female 50 in November 2015, and was named ‘Diva of the Year’ by Rolling Stone in December 2015. She ruled the wrestling world like a Princess & also won the award for ‘Choice Female Athlete’ alongside her sister at the Teen Choice Awards in 2016.
Nikki Bella was too enamored with Champ wrestler John Cena and their relationship continued for about six years. It is surprising what prompted them to eventually part ways in 2018. The reasons explained by Nikki Bella later, in one of her interviews, were not too convincing.
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev became pals when they paired together on season 25 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (2017), an American TV Show which concluded in 2022. At that time Nikki was engaged to Cena who was already married & had divorced her wife Elizabeth Huberdeau in 2012. Nikki Bella and Artem officially became partners in 2019 & married later. Nikki was blessed with a son. Her twin sister Brie, who was already married to wrestler Bryan Danielson, was blessed with a son, too. The couple, married in 2014, also had a daughter born to them.
