The lady under reference was a known Punjabi actress who also worked in Hindi films, though many of her Hindi films were either shelved or failed to kick off. She was seen in ‘Jeene Nahi Doonga’ with Dharmendra. ‘Putt Jattan De’,’Mamla Gadbadd Hai’, ‘Saidah Jogan’, ‘Batwara’, ‘Ki Banu Duniya Da’, ‘Sarpanch’ & ‘Jee Aayaan Nu’ were some of her Punjabi films. Often referred to as ‘Hema Malini’ of Punjabi cinema. She has had her schooling from a convent in West Bengal. Had been under treatment for Dementia before she died in November 2022.
