With the success of some of the stunning Indian babes at various International Beauty Pageants beginning with Sushmita Sen & Aishwarya Rai, the Cannes, a city situated on the French Riviera, seems to have become a hub for aspiring Indian actresses & models. The Indian film contingent was the largest to attend the 76th Cannes Film Festival held this year comprising of Aishwarya Rai, Mouni Roy, Mrunal Thakur, Urvashi Rautela & many others to bewitch the viewers & delegates at the Cannes 2023 extravaganza.
Although the entire length of the Cote d’ Azur, as the French Riviera is more commonly called locally, is transformed into a vast playground permissive, playful, fun- loving jet set in spring and summer-the two of its major beach resorts -Cannes & Nice stand out head & shoulders above the dozen or so of its other bewitching pleasure resorts such as St. Tropez & Monte Carlo. Though it is French Riviera’s second largest city after Nice, Cannes steals the show because of its annual International Film Festival.
The local Cannois (inhabitants) say that Cannes, like a woman, takes a new set of lovers each summer & winter. It is claimed that the twin domes on top of the Hotel Carlton were modeled on the magnificent breasts of Caroline Otero, a French theater queen who often played Cannes.
