The western concept of beauty lays stress on curves & contours or what is commonly called ‘vital statistics’. The Western male see beauty in a tall, slim – trim gal while we in the East prefer or like burly, buxom or voluptuous female with a swan- like neck. Besides the magnetic or titillating effect of a seductive glance, alluring or inviting smile or an erotic rhythmic sway of damsel’s hips.

Interestingly though Camel is all curves & contours, it has never been looked upon as an epitome , embodiment or quintessence of beauty while peacock is regarded as the most beautiful bird in the feathered world. It is also true that beauty is skin deep & is bound to wither with the time. Equally true is the fact that beauty attracts as well as distracts. ‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’, goes the saying.
