Remembering On His Birth Anniversary
The noted British actor, comedian & producer Charlie Chaplin , who was adored & imitated the world over, began his life of misery and poverty sans a father. No one had thought that the boy would later create history . He moved to USA in 1913 following a contact & made to stay there.

His comic roles were too hilarious. He worked in many films until 1967 and also produced “A Woman of Paris” ( 1923). Academy of Motion Picture recognized him in “The Circus” ( 1928). The Immigrant (1917), The Kid (1921), The Gold Rush (1925), City Lights (1931), Modern Times (1936), and The Great Dictator (1940) were some of his prominent films. He wrote & directed many films.
A trailblazer in his own right Chaplin ventured to direct ‘The Kid’ in 1921. His work inspired many others who followed his foot steps in the decades that followed.
