Anketa Maharana with her screen name Apsara Rani created waves when she did play a lesbian in RGV’s “Dangerous”, story of two lesbians who seek sexual satisfaction in each other’s arms. The film had many passionate love scenes between two actresses . It also starred Naina Ganguly of ( “Mri Beti Sunny Leone Banna Chaahti hai” fame) . Both enacted romantic scenes uninhibitedly to the delight of the Telugu audience. The film was postponed following Covid19 outbreak. Apsara Rani also did ‘special appearances’ in some Telugu films.

Born 12 January 1996 in Dehradun the voluptuously gifted cutie Stands 5 feet 5 inch with impressive black eyes. She is a lissome beauty who is ever willing to do do every role she is asked to do so. She has been with the RGV’s camp for some years. She was earlier appreciated for her role in her debut film “4 Letter”. She also did a short film titled “Thriller”.
