Born in Yorkshire, England, Sean Bean made his debut with ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in 1983. He tasted success portraying Richard Sharpe in the ITV series Sharpe (1993-1997) starting with ‘Sharpe’s Rifles’ first of the Sharpe television dramas, based on Bernard Cornwell’s 1988 novel of the same name .It received critical acclaim from different quarters. Sean’s prominent films include ‘GoldenEye’ (1995), ‘Ronin’ (1998) & ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy (2001–2003). He also featured in TV series ‘Game of Thrones’.

‘GoldeEye’ was Pierce Brosnon’s first film of the James Bond series. It starred Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Famke Janssen, Joe Don Baker. Sean played an antagonist. Married five times. Ashley Moore was the 5th woman he married in 2017.
