Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (14 April 1891 -6 December 1956) was a Dalit Leader (formerly called untouchables) and Jurist who rose to prominence following his contribution in writing the Constitution of India& outlawing discrimination against untouchables.
Born April 14, 1891 at Mhow, MP ( renamed Dr. Ambedkar Nagar ).Ambedkar studied at universities in the United States, Britain, and Germany. He is said to be one of the greatest scholars. He held the post of Law Minister between 1947 to 1951. He was bestowed with Bharat Ratna in 1990 posthumously.
