The grand finale of Miss World 2021,saw ,Karolina Bielawska of Poland win the coveted ‘Miss World 2021’ title in a glittering ceremony, at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a Caribbean island and unincorporated region of the United States. Indian beauty Shree Saini of USA was crowned the 1st Runner Up & Olivia Yace of Cote D’Ivoire becomes the 2nd Runner Up respectively. The contest, conducted in two parts, one in December and again in March.

Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh,a Jamaican singer ,Crowned Karolina the Polish Beauty.Ms Saini is an Indian and one of my acquaintances.Harnaaz Sandhu was earlier Crowned Miss Universe 2021 .It indeed has made Indians proud.

The first ‘Miss World’ pageant was held in 1951, at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, United Kingdom.Kiki Hakansson of Sweden was the winner.Reita Faria of Bombay was the First Asian & Indian to win the coveted title in 1966 .I went to meet her in Delhi in 1969.
