Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, one of the prominent Indian scientists, who proved that like animals plants, too, show sensitivity to external stimuli like- heat, cold & snow. Bose who did his graduation from Calcutta , later attended the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
