Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s performance as Raji, a member of the Lankan Tamil liberation group who does away with her victims with ruthlessness ,precision and unflinching determination in “The Family Man 2′, raised many an eye brow. Most critics sang hymns of praise for her bolder attitude & looks in the web series under reference.
The actress ,flooded with fresh assignments, is also doing Gunasekhar’s “Shakuntalam” ,also starring Dev Mohan .It is being produced by Dil Raju & Neelima Guna. The film is based on “Shakuntala” by Kalidasa. Samantha is also cast in the lead along with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, in the upcoming Tamil romantic drama, “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal”. The actress is very much in the news after her break up with hubby Akkineni Naga Chaitanya who had reportedly offered an alimony amounting to 200 crore which she plainly refused to accept, it is reliably learnt. Samantha has also enhanced her fee to rupee 30 million from earlier 15-20 million per film. She is also appearing in another bold web series with ‘The Family Man’ duo Raj & DK .
