Kangana Ranaut-Arvind Swamy starrer “Thalaivi” hits the screens in Southern states & Hindi belts today.The film highlighting the career of six-time Tamil Nadu CM & former film actress who also worked in a Hindi film “Izzat” with Dharmendra in 1968.

A phenomenon in the South, J Jayalalithaa, who failed to make it big in Hindi films, was highly respected nay adored in her state. Nariman Jahangir Contractor, former captain of Indian cricket squad & actor Shammi Kapoor were cynosore of her eyes. She also appeared in 1962 film “Man Mauji” starring Kishore Kumar, Sadhana & Pran.

The film will be showing on more than 1500 screens.
