Born 4 August 1999 in a Punjabi family in New Delhi, Yashika Anand started as an Instagram model & later joined the Tamil & Telugu movies after her parents shifted to Chennai. She debuted in a Tamil comedy film “Kavalai Vendam” ( 2016) playing a swimming instructor. The film featured Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal & Bobby Simha.
In 2019 she worked in a Tamil comedy “Zombie” starring Yogi Babu opposite her. It was directed by Bhuvan Nullan. She also took part in the ‘BIG BOSS’ Tamil reality show hosted by veteran South actor Kamal Haasan. In 2018 she had made many an eyebrow raised when she allegedly accused that a director wanted to sexually abuse her for giving work in his film. She also appeared in a Tamil satirical weekly show titled “Madras Meter Show” besides few other films & television shows. Yashika Anand ,who stands 5 foot 4 , & measures 34-26-34 had set the print & social media ablaze with her exotically dazzling photographs some time ago. Interestingly ,like many other aspiring starlets, she did not resort to uninhibited or shameless exposure. Most of her photographs were eye-catching & delightful, exuding elegance & a hidden allure. Yashika Anand looks dazzling in both traditional and western costumes.
