Parvati Nair, is the one of the latest actresses who is making waves down South. Born Parvathy Venugopal Nair, on 5 December 1992 at Abu Dhabi in UAE, the starlet made inroads into the world of modelling and commercials doing short films and music videos alongside. A graduate in Computer Science and Engineering ,Nair regularly became associated with various modelling events down South. The glitter & glamour of the tinsel world eventually prompted her to pursue a career in films and so successfully, too
.
She made her film debut with ” Poppins”( 2012), directed by V. K. Prakash starring Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya, Nithya Menon, Padmapriya, Ann Augustine & Parvati Nair. The film revolves round man-woman relationship. She plays a bride in horror drama “Yakshi – Faithfully Yours” (2012)directed by Abhiram Suresh Unnithan. He took inspiration from the Malayalam mythology to make the film. Naga-Yakshi, who symbolises lust ,descends on earth , has her lust satiated with virgin men ,and subsequently kills them until she meets & falls for two mortal non-virginal men.
Parvati Nair made her debut in the Kannada films through “Story Kathe” (2013) The film did not do well commercially but it earned her recognition for her role as the Best Debut Actress in Kannada films at the 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards. She plays a television journalist.It stars stars Prathap Narayan , Thilak Shekar & Parvati Nair.
“Yennai Arindhaal”, directed by Gautham Menon & featuring Ajith Kumar, Arun Vijay, Trisha, Anushka Shetty & Parvati Nair was her first big-budgeted movie . It was a Tamil-language action thriller which reportedly collected more than 100 crores on the box office front. It was followed by another big budgeted film titled “Uttama Villain”, directed by Ramesh Aravind. She portrays Indira, girlfriend of Kamal Hasan’s son .For the actress it was a ‘Dream come true’ sort of working with the veteran star Kamal Hasan. Surprisingly & interestingly, too, though it did not do well on the box office ,it went on to win many awards internationally.
The interesting thing about Parvati Nair is that she never tried to catch two birds at a time. She keeps her cool with whatever naturally comes her way while some of her friends in pursuit of catching two birds have lost the one already in hand.

Nair stands 5 foot 5, gifted with a lovely face , well chiselled features and alluring curves & contours to enhance her personality. She recently did her shoots in dazzling costumes in exotic nay sensuous postures to make her intentions clear for the viewers to fantasize what is in store for them in the coming days.
