Sophie Turner is a British actress ,television personality & a singer in her own right. She is known predominantly for her debut performance as Sansa Stark in HBO fantasy television series: ” Game of Thrones “( 2011-present) which earned her critical acclaim and worldwide recognition as an actress of substance. The cast including Turner were nominated for Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance in a Drama series in 2012,2014,2015,and 2016. SAG Awards have been one of the major awards events in Hollywood since its inception in 1995.Interestingly,Turner was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for being an Outstanding Supporting Actress in the “Game of Thrones”.
Turner also appeared in a number of movies including the likes of ” Another Me”( 2013) and “Barely Lethal” directed by Kyle Newman starring Hailee Steinfeld, Sophie, Jessica Alba, and Samuel Jackson. Sophie Turner played Heather in the film. The film cost the makers $ 15 million. It was primarily a film meant for teenagers, especially girls. The film’s rating was average. Some viewers however, liked the movie and said it was great and deserved a better rating. The presence of Jesica Alba and Jaime king, though in cameo roles, enhanced the prospects of the film. The exact box office collection is not known due to various release factors. Turner also worked in television film “The Thirteenth Tale (2013) and enacted a young Jean Grey in the X-Men film series’.

Sophie also appeared in music videos including ” Oblivion” in 2014 and ” Sucker” Jonas Brothers ( 2019).A beauty as she is,Sophie is fond of football and Basketball.Her favourite food is Pizza and she prefers Red & Purple colors.She is married to Joe Jonas,a member of famous pop rock band the Jonas Brothers-Kevin & Nick Jonas.Nick is married to Indian actress and former ‘Miss World’ Priyanka Chopra.
Nick’s brother Joe Jonas and his then fiancee, “Game of Throne” fame actress Sophie Turner, had reached Mumbai to attend the marriage of Nick & Priyanka Chopra.The ‘love birds’ were spotted by fans frolicking round in Rotterdam ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2016. The world saw Joe and Sophie get tie the know as the DJ put the entire surprise ceremony on Instagram live.The wedding took place in Las Vegas in the presence of their families and close friends, including brothers Nick Jonas ,Kevin Jonas, and Priyanka Chopra.They later threw an after-party at their hotel attended by few close friends. Surprisingly & interestingly,too,the couple went on a ‘honeymoon spree’ first at Maldives followed by another in Italy. The couple was blessed with a baby girl in July 2020.
