Kajal Aggarwal,known for her impeccable acting potential & good nature , stands out as one of the most popular and loveble actresses in the South films.She also did ” Naan Mahaan Alla” & a romantic comedy ” Brindavanam”.She was nominated for Filmfare Award in yet another film titled “Mr. Perfect”.The actress,however, made her presence felt in Hindi film “Singham” receiving a Filmfare Award for Best Debut Female.She is the only actress from down South whose wax statue is installed at Madame Tusaad’s Museum in Singapore thus rubbing shoulders with the likes of Sridevi.Kajal Aggarwal also appeared in Sanjay Gupta’s “Mumbai Saga” starring John Abraham,Jackie Shroff, Emraan Hashmi, Gulshan Grover with music score by Anu Malik.The film highlights the life of Mumbai before & after 1980s with closing of the mills and paving way for high-rise apartments, malls, night-clubs and disco-bars.It is a gangster movie which throws light on both darker and brighter sides of the metropolis.

Kajal,who is a known actress in the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films , made her acting debut with the 2004 Hindi film “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na” . Her first Telugu release was “Lakshmi Kalyanam”(2007).S. S. Rajamouli’s “Magadheera” featuring Ram Charan,Srihari & Kajal Aggarwal, was a box office hit.The film completed its 1000th-day theatrical run to become the longest running South Indian film,winning National Award for Best Choreography and Best Special Effects at the 57th National Film Awards as well as winning six Filmfare Awards, nine Nandi Awards and ten CineMAA Awards. The film’s success opened floodgates of opportunities for the lead pair. The film was subsequently remade in Bengali as “Yoddha: The Warrior”.

It would be injustice if we did not mention one of her super-hit movies “Thuppakki”( 2012),an action thriller starring Vijay & Kajal Aggarwal.The film won Seven Filmfare Awards South and collected more than 100 crores on box office.

Born 19 June 1985, the actress was married to Gautam Kitchlu last year. “Arjun and Anu” (2021) starring Vishnu Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, Suneil Shetty, Ruhi Singh,Navdeep, Naveen Chandra & Aakash Dabhade was her latest release in March this year.
