Sri Lanka wih a pouplation af over 21 milion is our neighbouring country ,earlier known as Ceylon.The lankan women have an old penchant for fashion & beauy.Beauty pageants are regularly held there and internationally,too,some of the Lankan women have won laurels for the country.Modelling has come up as a flourishing industry with thousands of young and well endowed girls doing wonders worldwide.

I ventured to write about Sri Lankan Models 14 months ago and became known to many of these lovely beauties,including some irresistibly stunning nay voluptuosly endowed.Some Lankan models have been my Face Book friends for long like Fonseka Kasun ,Mayumi Ishara , Dilki Amarsinghe,Suhana Savindi and some others.Yet,many of these were either known to me or were in touch for years like Piumi Hansamali,Shanudrie Priyasad ,Sayurangi Perera Senali Fonseka, Venu Udani & Chulakshi Ranatunga.Anarkali Akarsha,Nadeeka Perera,,Geethama Bandara,Nelum Samarawickrama,Maneesh Chnchala,Sandani Fernando, Nayomi Thakshila,Heshari Maheshi,Madhushila Lakmali,Darshi,Rainie Perera,Dilini Aththanayake, Natalie Hewage , Hiruni Kavindaya & Teena Shanell are some of the more famous names in Sri lanka.

Croline Jurie’s win as Mrs World 2020 prompted many more to join the bandwagon.Social media seems more powerful than other mediums at present as people,especially the ‘younger set’ in many millions have become addicted to it. Resultantly, upcoming models & actresses get or receive more exposure and adulation. It would surely be my pleasure to mention an exotically lovely Sri Lankan model, Jacqueline Fernandez, who successfully made it to the Bollywood in 2009.She has appeared in many films in last eleven years like-top grossing ” Kick ( 2014),”Houseful 3″,”Dishoom” & A Flying Jatt” ( 2016),”Judwaa” ( 2017) & star studded hit “Race 3” ( 2018). Miss Fernandez will appear in a song sequence with Salman Khan in a “Radhey” song. The film is likely to see the light of the Day this month.
